Jason Cole received his BS from U.C. Davis. He worked in California s viticulturist for Stage Coach Vineyards, then returned to school and in 2013 was awarded an MS from the Vinifera Euromaster Program, where he studied with five universities. He has a decade of winemaking and vineyard management experience in regions as diverse as Arizona and Virginia, and was the assistant nurseryman at Wiemer Vineyards and Nursery in New York. Antonio Muñoz Salinas
Antonio Muñoz Salinas has worked with us for 14 years and supervised crews at our Griffin Creek ranches. He so impressed us with his ability to train and inspire crews that last year we promoted him to assistant vineyard manager. Shortly after he was picked up by immigration, and is now awaiting his deportation hearing. He is a dear friend, and we are fighting for his release.
Ramundo Guzman has worked with us since 19??. He supervised crews for many years, and now works as our operations manager, overseeing projects and facilitating daily operations throughout our vineyards.
Ken Pratt has been with Quail Run for 21 years. He is a master mechanic who repairs all our equipment and builds things as needed. If it breaks, call Kenny.
Amadeus Valvidares is vineyard supervisor for our Griffin Creek ranches. He was trained by Antonio and has proven to be an exceptional team leader. He manages five diverse vineyards with varieties ranging from Pinot Gris to Petite Sirah, and trellis systems that include Scott Henry, VSP, and cordon.
Carlos has worked with us for 11 years. We were so impressed by his attention to detail and keen observational skills that we asked him to be vineyard supervisor for our Crater View ranches. Carlos felt it was too much responsibility and refused. The third time we asked him he accepted. Since then, virtually every winemaker purchasing Crater View fruit has commended Carlos for his outstanding work.
Oscar Aldana has worked with Quail Run since 1998, and is frequently assisted by his two daughters and two sons. He comes from Guatemala, and received asylum in the US after fleeing violence in his country. He has an extraordinary feeling for plants and has been vineyard supervisor of our five Talent ranches for the past three years
Cody Marsing worked the 2011 harvest and had such a great attitude that we brought him on fulltime as Ken’s assistant and all-around trouble shooter. On his days off Cody plays semi-professional football for the Southern Oregon Renegades.
Our outstanding team…..
